DELTACAST build for the whole venue: jumbo screens, centre-hungs, corner screens, ribbons and scoreboards from one interface. We build for the advertising boards. That is the difference, and it decides which one you want.
First, fairly
DELTA-stadium is a venue-wide content system. Their site describes driving every type of stadium screen from one interface, a graphics template editor with multi-timeline layering, After Effects keyframes and 3D object imports, and hardware video decoding for H.264 and HEVC up to 8K.
Its live data reach is broader than ours: Excel, Google Sheets and XML sources, third-party feeds including STATS-PERFORM, social media aggregation and official referee scoring tables. For a club that wants a graphics department rather than a perimeter operator, that matters.
They are also a broadcast company, so the I/O list is a broadcast one: SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, NDI and ST2110, on their own cards or a standard GPU output, in a setup they describe as scalable and fully redundant.
Side by side
USM’s column is what our software does today. The DELTA-stadium column is what their own site says, checked on 22 September 2026. Where it says their site does not state something, that is exactly what it means: ask them.
| USM Boarding | DELTA-stadium | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | The perimeter, fascia and ribbon. One licence covers one PC and up to nine screens. | Every screen in the venue: jumbo screens, centre-hungs, corner screens, ribbons and scoreboards. |
| Fitting artwork to the wall | Artwork is laid onto the wall as a reusable sequence and prepared before it plays, at the wall’s exact pixel geometry. | Graphics template editor with layering, timelines, After Effects keyframes and hardware decoding to 8K. |
| Redundancy | A backup PC mirrors the main one all match and takes the wall after about 5 s of silence on a 1 s heartbeat. | Described as a scalable, fully redundant solution with distributed media servers. |
| Proof of play | Logged to 1/100 s per screen, exported per fixture as PDF or Excel. | Tracks and logs the airtime of each advertisement and produces advertiser reports. |
| Building content remotely | Projects are built in a browser and played out on the venue rig. The two stay in sync. | Centralised operations across distributed servers. Their site does not state browser-based project building. |
| LED hardware monitoring | Reads the NovaStar processors behind the wall: cabinets, temperature, main and backup cable, with email alerts and 13 months of history. | Their site does not state LED processor or cabinet monitoring. |
| Control-room integrations | NDI out, scoreboard and live text, Stream Deck through Companion, and an HTTP trigger API. | SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, NDI, ST2110, plus live data from Excel, Sheets, XML, STATS-PERFORM and scoring tables. |
| Price | Published, with a configurator. You can price a two-screen rig without talking to us. | Not published. Quoted on enquiry. |
| When the playout PC dies | The operator moves the licence to another PC themselves, twice in any six months. Support-assisted moves are never counted. | Their site does not state what happens to a licence when its machine is replaced. |
| Who supports it | Maxamaze BV in Belgium, which also installs and operates LED at venues. | DELTACAST, Belgium. |
Where they beat us
If you are buying software for the big screen and the ribbon and the scoreboard together, DELTA-stadium covers ground USM does not. Our big-screen product, USM Live, is still in development and is not on sale.
Their graphics templating is a genuine content-creation tool. USM is not: artwork arrives from an agency and we put it on the wall. If your club produces its own motion graphics in-house, weigh that heavily.
Where the comparison turns our way: for the perimeter specifically we are a smaller, faster thing to run, the price is published, the proof-of-play export is built for sponsor auditing rather than general reporting, and LED monitoring tells you which cabinet failed, which no content system we know of does.
Which one
one system has to drive the big screen, the ribbons and the scoreboard, your club makes its own graphics, and broadcast-grade I/O is part of the requirement.
the perimeter is the job, you want it excellent rather than included, and you would rather have sponsor-grade proof of play and monitoring of the wall than a graphics suite you will not staff.
Everything in the DELTA-stadium column is from their public website, read on 22 September 2026. We are not affiliated with them and this page is ours, not theirs. Products change: if something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it. DELTA-stadium website
Send us your perimeter geometry and a sponsor file that has given you trouble. We will show you what USM does with it, and if the honest answer is that the other product suits you better, we will say so.
