Case study: RSC Anderlecht Twenty minutes to matchday.
Lotto Park in Brussels has two LED ribbons around the pitch, on a UEFA-approved system Maxamaze installed, and USM Boarding drives both. Getting the wall ready for a match used to take about three hours. It now takes twenty minutes.
What changed at Lotto Park.

Three hours became twenty minutes.
Getting the wall ready for a match used to take the best part of three hours. With USM Boarding it takes about twenty minutes.
Most of that is how the software is built. A fixture is a project prepared in advance, in a browser if need be, from sequences that are reused match after match. What is left for the day itself is loading it on the rig and checking it on the wall.
Two walls, one picture.
The perimeter and the mid-tier ribbon are two different walls: 3840 x 1440 and 3840 x 960 pixels, at two different pixel pitches. In USM they are two screens under one cue, and they change on the same frame. Before USM they did not; now they run in sync, frame for frame, all match.
Three NDI sources run inside the same playout, alongside the sponsor rotation, and the playout does all of it faster than the system it replaced.

Built by Maxamaze.
Maxamaze installed the LED perimeter, the floodlights and two giant screens at Lotto Park, and USM Boarding is the software that plays the perimeter. The installation story is on maxamaze.com.
