Case study: SC Heerenveen A standard wall and a demanding crew.

The Abe Lenstra Stadion has two 44-metre LED ribbons on its facade, installed by Maxamaze. The installation was standard. The operating team asks a lot of the software, and much of what they asked for is now part of USM Boarding.

Features built for Heerenveen, now in every copy.

A crew that runs the wall every week notices every rough edge, and this one says so. These are some of the requests that became part of USM Boarding.

  • A stinger that waits for the sequence. Start a stinger the moment the current sequence finishes, so the sponsor on the wall gets all of its seconds first.
  • Performance, pushed further. Round after round of work on how smoothly the wall plays, until the crew had nothing left to point at.
  • A different screen for the operator. Changes to the interface where the crew found it slow or unclear during a match.
  • Faster programming. Ease-of-use features that cut the time it takes to build and change a fixture.

Maxamaze installed the boarding and the two giant screens, working around first-team training while the stadium stayed in use. The installation story is on maxamaze.com.
